Helmet Paint Project
I like by bike helmet, but it's a bit indifferent being all white, so
I decided to spice it up a bit. I'll try to paint on it with my oil
paints, although I don't know if that will work. But first, I need to
think of a design or theme.
Obviously I could paint it black, but then again it wouldn't be less
indifferent. My favorite color is blue, so I could paint various
shades of blue on it, but then again my bike is white / green so it
wouldn't be a good match.
Then I thought that since I wear it on my head, I could paint
something like an open lotus to resemble the "1000 petal lotus" of the
crown chakra (according to eastern traditions). I like the idea, so
I'll do a bit of a research on how other artists have represented
that.
In any case, even if the paint works on the helmet (I don't know what
kind of material it is, it's a Lazer helmet) the surface is quite
fragmented so it won't be easy to depict something in it's entirety,
but I'll do my best.
